About Us
SBGTH's mission is to support and advocate for healthier indoor air environments.
We plan on doing this in two ways.
One is to educate contractors about techniques and products that may be needed for certain clientele.
We realize that no two people are the same, and their needs may not be typical;so teaching contractors the right questions to ask and giving them the skills needed to help facilitate s healthier working relationship.
Second, we work with the public to help them identify things in their environment that may be affecting their health without them knowing it, and ways that they can improve it.
Our Story
It all started in 2011, in a small coffee shop, when a woman asked us to build her a healthy home for her and her son. We had no idea what that meant. The journey to understanding starts with a question. For us, we needed to learn more…...
They both had a condition known as Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). Which boils down to not being able to live or work in environments full of toxic VOC’s… she struggled finding companies to work with and listen to what she was asking for. Thus Step Beyond Green was born, we just needed 8 years to deliver it!
